Food, Glorious Food

Posted by
Christine (Ellemford, United Kingdom) on 23 June 2012 in Food & Cuisine and Portfolio.

This was the fresh caught mackerel I had the evening after we had been to see the puffins, it was caught by the guys on the boat while they were waiting for us. Richard looooved the mussles see here

I'm very much an amateur photographer. I live in the hills of the Scottish Borders which has fantastic flora and fauna, as well as wonderful light.

What's for dinner tonight? Lovely reminder and a nice presentation.

Everything looks so tasty! And yet I would only eat the veggies.
Congrats for the 'Let's Dance' spotlight!

I never tried the fish, but absolutely loved the mussels. Without a shadow of a doubt, the very best I have ever had

Interesting and very well shot "food" images. It's hard to make food look good in pictures, but you've done a fine job with this post.

Oh for heavens sake here is ANOTHER song on my mind for the day (as I clean house in preparation of the return of Mrs J on Thursday morning) . Christine, I can feel the joy in this wonderful piece here. I really agree with Chris's comment for today to Richard. I love the fact that we have different subjects and stories from each of you - with the exception, perhaps, of the Puffins - But they all are flying out of your hearts and into ours! And that is (or should be) the point, isn't it? To have two sensational photographers capturing and conveying their own impressions and feelings. And you are both doing it in such an emotional way!
It is IMPOSSIBLE not to pick up on those feelings! I just love the joyful sense and title here ,and I can feel the fun. A really wonderful way to gift us with this adventure, Christine! I hope you both have a great weekend as I clean house :-) but it's ok...<3
