Work Goes On

Posted by Christine (Ellemford, United Kingdom) on 1 June 2012 in Miscellaneous and Portfolio.

Back from a great trip and not had time to sort my photos out yet, so I will start with this and it is for you Chris Elliott :))
The first morning we intended to do a big walk but the weather was fabulous and actually too hot for our plans, so we took the opportunity and visited the island of Iona instead, this is Richard booking flights to the States on his iphone with a very weak signal but he succeeded.

I'm very much an amateur photographer. I live in the hills of the Scottish Borders which has fantastic flora and fauna, as well as wonderful light.

Haha! So it's not just me that feels completely cut off without access to the interweb! I think that this was taken exactly where I was trying to get internet access, not an easy task! looking forward to the shots

Great shot, we'd be so lost without our technology and yet if we wanted to phone someone when most of us were kids we had to find the nearest phone-box

I DO agree with. Richard...technology is a great tool to assist in the matter of whiling away the time..to wit..we sit here ate the car repair shop on Barbara's birthday and I play with her iPad, she reads her kindle,a and my mobile phone keeps us in touch with the grandson who just tapped the back bumper of some old people's car. LOVE this shot...the States, eh.
