NIKON D60 1/800 second F/5.6 ISO 100 300 mm (35mm equiv.)

I'm very much an amateur photographer. I live in the hills of the Scottish Borders which has fantastic flora and fauna, as well as wonderful light.

@shahnaz: It is part of my series, the girls eyes are closed, what is she wishing for?

What a lovely series. I love your concept behind these images. Wishing is yearning, is not having, but hoping. It's a suspended state with lots of uncertainty and desire and sometimes very bittersweet as your images show. Beautiful.

@Bettina: Thank you so much Bettina, you absolutely got what I had tried to capture

Mariana M. from Waterloo, Canada

this is more optimistic than your previous posts, i think, as we can at least imagine that both girl and dog wish for good things ... i like this series - it makes us think!

A sweet scene, of meditation, water, dog and master. Love the texture variety. You framed this very nicely. Kinda tense to see the dog wander a little unattached. Gulp. "now you stay close, ya hear?"
